Divine Healing

E-mail Print PDF

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases. —Psalm 103:2–3

The gift of divine healing is more than audacity, more than unction. People sometimes come to me very troubled. They will say, "I had the gift of healing once, but something has happened, and I do not have it now."

You never had it. "Gifts and calling of God are without repentance" (Rom. 11:29). If you fall from grace and use a gift wrongly, it will work against you. If you use tongues out of the will of God, interpretation will condemn you. If you have been used and the gift has been exercised and you have fallen from your high place, it will work against you.

It seems almost then as though you have never been born. The jealousy God has over us, the interest He has in us, the purpose He has for us, the grandeur of His glory are so marvelous. God has called us into this place to receive gifts.

Lord, thank You for the wonderful sense
of life that has been given to me through
Your Holy Spirit. I seek to be used by
Your Holy Spirit that I might use
Your gifts for Your glory. Amen.
