Christians from around the world are gathering in Israel this week to show support for an undivided Jerusalem during the annual Feast of Tabernacles, which began Thursday.

The weeklong celebration hosted by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) also marks the organization's 30th anniversary, which is to be commemorated Friday with a reception at the Zionist organization's international headquarters.

Some 6,000 Christians from nearly 100 nations are expected to convene in Jerusalem throughout the week, generating roughly $15 million for the local economy.

Atlanta megachurch pastor Eddie Long said he categorically denies allegations that he coerced three young men into having sexual relationships with him when they were teenagers.

In a statement his attorney read on the Tom Joyner Morning Show Thursday, Long said "ugly charges" made against him and his 25,000-member New Birth Missionary Baptist Church are false.

"I have devoted my life to helping others, and these false allegations hurt me deeply, but my faith is strong and the truth will emerge," he said.

Representatives from the New York Board of Rabbis and Eagles' Wings' ministry formed a human chain outside the United Nations building in New York, singing and blowing a shofar to condemn the U.N.'s inclusion of Ahmadinejad, who has called for Israel to be "wiped off the map."

As many as 2 million students worldwide are expected to gather at 7 a.m. Wednesday to pray for a moral and spiritual awakening in their schools and nations during the 20th anniversary See You at the Pole (SYATP) event.

Since the prayer day launched in Burleson, Texas, in 1990, millions of students—from preschool to college—have gathered around their campus flagpoles to pray each September for their leaders, schools and families during the annual event.

Nearly five years into the prison sentence of the only Christian in Morocco serving time for his faith, Moroccan Christians and advocates question the harsh measures of the Muslim state toward a man who dared speak openly about Jesus.

By the end of December Jamaa Ait Bakrim, 46, will have been in prison for five years at Morocco's largest prison, Prison Centrale, in Kenitra. An outspoken Christian convert, Bakrim was sentenced to 15 years prison for "proselytizing" and destroying "the goods of others" in 2005 after burning two defunct utility poles located in front of his private business in a small town in south Morocco.
