The Ex Chronicles

It’s sass and the city in this brand new series as four thirty-ish New York City pals navigate the perils of bad relationships, single city living and the prospect of happily ever after...

Precious is an aspiring erotica novelist, but with all she’s got going on, she just can’t seem to shake free of her cheating man, Darius. Gorgeous model Zenobia, aka, “Z” also doesn’t see her own magic as she’s sacrificed her promising career for Malcolm, a loser photographer who has more success in stepping out than snapping shots. And then there’s beautiful blonde Bella, an overindulged diplomat's daughter, who buries her problems with men, especially her unfaithful musician boyfriend Julius, in drugs and rampant alcoholism. Only Hope, the creative director of Shades magazine, isn’t dealing with a cheating heart…but Derrick may not have enough room for her in his own heart as he struggles to pay the bills and raise his three daughters on his own. And stressed-out Hope has problems all her own with her dementia-ridden mother and her own personal battles with depression. It’s going to take plenty of faith and friendship for these sexy singletons to finally find the happiness they deserve!

Never overlook the featured selections. Because I overlook the notice, this book was automatically sent. Not a good book. Very slow the as if the writer got tired and just wanted to finish, the ending was rushed and abrupt!!! Save your money!!

Benefit of the Doubt.

This book started out slow but mid-way it got really good. However, it seemed like the writer really wanted to finish the book, so the ending seemed really rush and unfortunately very predictable. I like the Author's style of writing, so I'll give the next book for this series a chance. I would recommended buying this book only when the next one in the series is out, that way you can read it back to back and not feel cheated at the end.

This book was interesting. Even though it had many names to keep up with it, it brought reality to fiction and was easy to follow.

Too slow, too many characters to keep up with. When it finally got going it turn out to be very predictable. 2 thumbs down.
