One of the top hip-hop performers of all time, Shawn Carter, aka Jay-Z, hails from the streets and burned up the charts with his own label, Roc-A-Fella Records. In 1996, Jay-Z (a shortened version of an early nickname, "Jazzy") released his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, but his real breakthrough came in 1998 with Vol. 2 Hard Knock Life, a Grammy® winner. In 2004, he moved behind-the-scenes, trading in his performer persona to become a full-time music mogul, and in 2005, was made the chief executive officer of Def Jam Records. But the draw of stage and studio pulled him back into the spotlight for a 2009 comeback. Now this explosive, full-color collection of Jay-Z’s life and times is a must for Jay-Z fans—and hip-hop fans everywhere!

I want to know if any of these people actually read the book? What in the book makes you feel that he is worshiping the devil? I mean I know all about the rumors but I am confused. It makes me want to read the book to see for what myself what the hype is all about and judge for myself.

Reviewer Exhausted..For number one people choose to believe what they want, so why are you on here trying to act like you are not on any particular side. Seems a little strange if you ask me, sounds like you are in defense mode! How can you even say that people would speak on something that they do not know anything about, that is just insane! People do not just say things with no meaning. I happen to have done research on Freemasons and would not speak on the subject matter if I did not have any knowledge. People are entitled to their own opinions and some people feel like he is a freemason, you may not but thats ok. Next time if you are offended by a review for whatever reason, move on to the next book because people are only expressing how they feel. Talk about looking silly, if you ask me you made yourself look silly. Getting into the bible over a book club...come on now telling people to do something in their comunity like as if you know who the reviewer is and what they do in their life. They may have done far more than you have. so how about you do your research before you tell others what to do.. and next time do us all a favor and move on. Thanks!!!
