I expect more than to be able to read the magazine. I feel digital media should be interactive and I am disappointed that you cannot bookmark an article (recipe), save an article (recipe) and am especially upset that you cannot print a recipe. Try setting your kindle fire on the counter and trying to read the recipe... I feel that the technology should be there to allow this sort of interaction. I do not own an IPAD so I would enjoy hearing from those users if the magazine is read only or if it is more interactive. So in short if you just want to read the Bon Appetit Magazine it is easy to read but I feel overall it falls short of my expectation of digital media.

Let me be clear, the content is good. I take issue in the format that I receive it in. I want to open a magazine and start reading, not zooming in and searching for text. The page view is pointless. I feel as if I'm getting just images that are in a row. Text view is good because I can read it. I realize this is not the magazine's fault, and the technology is still improving, and the codes are still being written, but comparatively it does not even come close to the print version. When I look to buy one over the other, I look at print as print and digital as digital. Don't try to make the same experience for both.

And btw, if I wanted to look at the print version in images, I'd just buy the real thing. Besides, for the amount of data it takes to look at the image, I can search online and get the same types of articles quicker.

Have this on my kindle fire, and its wonderful. The page view is pretty, and includes all the images and everything. It is.also nice to go to text view and just read the text. The recipes sound absolutely wonderful. My mom has been gettting this.in print for a long time and says this magazine is how she.learned so much about cooking. I'm looking forward to improving my skills too.
