RefundsCalculating Refund AmountsThe following conditions and exceptions apply, as do those listed on the Product Specific Policies pages. Partial refunds/Restocking Fees
If you return an item using the return label provided in the Online Returns Center and the reason for return is not a result of our error, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Below is an example of the options you'll see in the Returns Center. If you choose the U.S. Postal Service option, the amount that will be deducted from your refund is displayed. If you choose the Self Return option, you'll pay the cost charged by the carrier selected. How Refunds Are IssuedMost refunds are issued based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. In some cases, you may be offered an "Instant refund" option. Selecting the instant refund option will result in an Amazon.com Gift Card automatically being added to your Amazon.com Gift Card balance. This will allow you to use your refund without waiting for your return to process. You will still need to return your items within 30 days.
Amazon may determine that a refund can be issued without requiring a return. You will be notified in the Online Returns Center or by a Customer Service Associate if we do not require that you mail your item back for a refund. Please see the Conditions of Use. Late RefundIf you haven't received a credit for your return yet, first check for your refund at the bottom of the order's summary page in Your Account. If your refund appears in Your Account, but you aren't seeing the refund in your current balance, here's what to do:
