Protocol Division, together with the Auckland Office and the Māori Policy Unit organised a programme in Auckland around Waitangi Day for foreign Heads of Mission.
An evening function at the Cloud on Auckland’s waterfront on Monday hosted by Minister McCully and a lunch at Villa Maria on Tuesday hosted by John Allen were designed to complement the Governor General’s Garden Party to which Heads of Mission had already been invited.
