The Sunday Telegraph is an Australian newspaper published every Sunday across New South Wales and parts of Queensland. As of 2012, The Sunday Telegraph is Australia's biggest selling newspaper.

Publication[edit]
The Sunday Telegraph is produced in the Holt Street offices of Nationwide News, an Australian subsidiary of the Rupert Murdoch owned News Corp. It is printed at the Chullora and Gold Coast printing presses and distributed across New South Wales, Canberra and South East Queensland.
Structure[edit]
The Sunday Telegraph is a tabloid style newspaper, with a strong emphasis on family and giveaways. The newspaper contains five distinct sections as well as five liftouts. All are included in the Sunday Telegraph's cover price of $2.50 AUD.
Sections[edit]
- News - breaking news and investigative journalism from around Australia.
- World - news from around the globe.
- Agenda - an in-depth section looking at the issues of the day, showcasing features and opinion pieces.
- Sport - features sport news from around Australia and the world (also includes The Punter, a racing liftout.)
- Insider - the back pages of the newspaper, featuring gossip and celebrity news.

- body+soul - a health and lifestyle magazine with an emphasis on women.
- Sunday Magazine - a glossy liftout featuring women's fashion and celebrity news.
- Escape - a large travel magazine featuring stories and travel deals.
- TV Guide - features television guide and entertainment news and reviews.
- Shop Smart - a liftout featuring weekly shopping deals, hints and tips.
Editor[edit]
The current editor is Mick Carroll(former deputy editor of The Daily Telegraph and editor of the Townsville Bulletin) who has edited the paper since 2012. The deputy editor is Claire Harvey.
Accolades[edit]
In addition to being Australia's most widely read newspaper[citation needed], The Sunday Telegraph won News Limited's Newspaper of the Year Award at the 2011 News Awards.
Relationship with The Daily Telegraph[edit]
Contrary to public opinion, The Sunday Telegraph is not affiliated with another Sydney tabloid The Daily Telegraph also published by Nationwide News. Although occasionally the two papers share stories in order to trump Fairfax competitors, The Sunday Telegraph is not the Sunday edition of The Daily Telegraph and is in fact an entirely separate publication.
