The Awards for Excellence in Education honour teachers, administrators, and support staff whose unparalleled dedication to teaching is reflected in their students' academic success. Every year, educators from B.C., Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec are invited to gala award ceremonies to celebrate their achievements.

The Awards for Excellence in Education are presented in several categories reflecting different aspects of academic achievement measured by the Fraser Institute's annual School Report Cards. Schools are typically recognized for having the fastest, most consistent improvement in their academic performance; ensuring their students succeed regardless of the hurdles they may face; and achieving remarkable, ongoing academic success.
