Between 2006 and 2011, the Fraser Institute published a series of Hospital Report Cards assessing measures of patient safety and quality of care for acute care hospitals in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Our aim was to foster improvement by providing the public with hard-to-find information about the performance of their local hospital.
