Freedom of Information

Welcome to the School's web pages concerning Freedom of Information. In January 2005 the Freedom of Information Act (2000) came into force. This Act gives you the right to access recorded information held by the School. These web pages provide you with information on how to access the School's information.

If you are interested in accessing information held by the School, your first step should be to look at our publication schemes. This is a guide to the information that the School routinely publishes and includes access to documents such as the School's annual report, financial statements, prospectus and equal opportunities policy. By providing access to the School's information we hope that many of your questions will be answered. The publication scheme is available either as a PDF or as a series of web pages.

An introduction to Freedom of Information is available which gives an explanation on what FOI is, and how it will work.

A guide to requesting information is available and should be read before making a request, there is also a Request for information form (DOC 0.04 MB) or Request for information form (PDF 1.04 MB) for you to use when making a request.

For further information on the School's compliance with Freedom of Information, please contact: Archivist & Records Manager by email at: foi@lshtm.ac.uk or by telephone 020 7927 2966
