Is Ben Carson Really a Creationist?

Ben Carson says he believes God is our Creator, but the Almighty may have used natural selection to help Him.

In interviews throughout the years, the left-leaning media called Carson to the carpet for his faith, including Carson's belief of the elements of spiritual warfare in the creation debate.

However, the man who holds No. 2 in the GOP polls doesn't necessarily believe the Earth is only 6,000 years old, either.

"He's God. If He wanted to create an Earth that was billions of years old, He could do it," Carson tells Fox's Bill O'Reilly.

"I believe in microevolution. I believe in natural selection. But I have a different take on it," Carson says. "The evolutionists they say there, that's proof that the theory of evolution is true. I say that's proof of an intelligent and caring God who gave His creatures the ability to adapt to their environment so He wouldn't have to start over every 50 years."

But when it comes to Adam and Eve, the garden of Eden and the book of Genesis, Carson's answers might surprise you.
