Wenn unsre Brüder kommen
mit Bomben und Gewehren,
dann wolln wir sie umarmen,
dann wolln wir uns nicht wehren.
Sie sehen aus wie Feinde,
sie tragen Uniformen,
sie sind wie wir verblendet
und festgefahrn in Normen.
Auch wenn sie anders sprechen,
wir wolln mit ihnen reden.
Es solln die Präsidenten
sich doch allein befehden!
Jedoch, bevor sie kommen,
wär´s gut, sich zu besinnen.
Ein jeder muß die Liebe
mit sich allein beginnen.

WHEN WE SEE OUR BROTHERS COME
When we see our brothers come
with rifles, bombs, and guns,
then let's embrace them tightly,
then we would not have to run.
The look just like enemies,
they are wearing uniforms,
they are blinded, just like us.
and like us, are stuck in norms.
If they talk in a different voice,
we must still go to them and speak,
and the presidents who rule
should fight themselves, if peace they seek.
But, before they do arrive,
it is helpful to remember
this love of everyone
with ourselves, it must begin here.
When we see our brothers come
with rifles, bombs, and guns,
then let's embrace them tightly,
then we would not have to run.
