Redefining the Canon of Elizabethan Drama
Supported by the School of Advanced Study’s ‘Dean’s Development Fund’, this project is managed by Professor Sir Brian Vickers and co-ordinated by Dr Marcus Dahl. It emerged out of the work they undertook on The Complete Works of John Ford, an AHRC funded research project previously hosted by the Institute. During the course of working on the identification of co-authored works they have advanced attribution methodologies which have been widely advertised across periods and literatures to provide a specialised service in Attribution Studies. Dr Dahl’s work has been used by research projects at other HEIs, most notably the AHRC funded Complete Works of John Shirley, at Durham and Anglia Ruskin Universities.
