Alumni
The Institute's MA programmes have been in operation now since 1995. Some 60 graduates have passed through these programmes at the Institute since their inception. In 2003, the Institute also graduated its first Ph.D. student.

MPhil/Phd Alumni
On 16 August 2006, Jenny Stevens succesfully passed her viva. She is the second PhD student to graduate from the Institute. Her thesis, 'Faith, fiction, and the historical Jesus: theological revisionism and its influence on fictional representations of the Gospels (c. 1860-1920)', was examined by Emeritus Professor Sir Frank Kermode FBA (Cambridge) and Professor John Stokes (KCL). The thesis was supervised by Professor Warwick Gould.
On 5 December 2003, Dr Declan D. Kiely graduated from the Institute. His thesis, "The Writing of W.B. Yeats's The King's Threshold: An Edition and Study of the Manuscripts", was supervised by Professor Warwick Gould. The thesis was examined by Professor John Kelly (Oxford) and Dr Catherine Phillips (Cambridge). It was published in The Cornell Yeats series in 2005.
In August 2010, Jonathan Arnold succesfully passed his viva. His thesis, "Non-fiction, non-war related book publishing in America during World War One" was supervised by Professor Simon Eliot.
On 14 September 2011, Maureen Green graduated from the Institute. Her thesis, "Hayle Mill: The history and survival of a nineteenth century vat paper mill" was supervised by Professor Warwick Gould and was examined by Mr Nicholas Barker, FBA and Professor David Killingray (Goldsmiths University of London).
On 30 November 2012, Konstantinos Choulis successfully passed his viva. His thesis 'Conservation Treatments carried out on the Greek Manuscripts of the Fondo Antico in the Vatican Library' was supervised by Professor Mirjam Foot and Professor Pamela Robinson and was examined by Professor Charalambos Dendrinos (Hellenic Society, Royal Holloway University of London) and Professor Nicholas Pickwoad (University of Arts London, Camberwell College of Arts).
Michael Cade Stewart passed his viva on 1 February 2013. His thesis 'Reading and rejuvenation: Yeats's Reading for the Oxford Book of Modern Verse: 1892:1935, and the writing of the New and Last Poems', was supervised by Professor Warwick Gould. He was examined by Professor Mark Ford (UCL) and Emeritus Professor John Kelly (St John's College Oxford).
