“I knocked on doors for Patrick Brown, but…”

Of course, I'd like to see Wynne and her Liberals kicked out of power. And I've seen Brown in action. He has an effective campaign ground game. But that's not what I'm worried about...

Thankfully, the Liberals lost a riding that has voted Liberal in every election since its creation. This the first of many. It’s a clear repudiation of the Ben Levin created/ approved sex ed curriculum, the Green Energy Act, wastefulness, and typical Liberal deceit. Go Scarborough—Rouge River!

Andrew Stephenson Justin is an idiot. Rob Ford was not. Neither is Trump. Your comment shows you to be an idiot. What will you left wing twits do when conservatives and makers are all unemployed or gone? Who do you think pays for things? I am at an age where i almost welcome this, just to see you idiots running around like headless chickens when cold hard reality hits your own personal world. ANd sorry i will not be your commie work camp slave either. I will die first.

How the Ontario provincial conservatives decided to choose Patrick Brown as their leader is a complete mystery (aka disaster), unless they have a death wish. Brown has absolutely no charisma, looks like a slightly over-grown boy with a squeaky voice, and exudes no manliness or strength whatsoever.

It is imperative for Ontario’s economic health that they fully rid themselves of Kathleen Wynne and her mindless parasites at the next provincial election; however, based on the previous idiotic voting choices within that hapless province, it will NOT happen unless the Conservatives immediately replace Brown with a credible, competent and strong replacement….hopefully, not another token female.

It’s time for a different approach. Career politician Patrick should resign and the Ontario PC’s should post the Leadership job on Workopolis and hire someone from the private sector with real world business leadership experience. The Crystal house built by these political self righteous elitists need to be shattered.
Politics was originally intended to be a public service for citizens who had successful careers who felt compelled to give back to society. Today it is a tax payer funded feed bag managed by the most unqualified in our society. Any dolt can give stuff away that is not theirs to begin with.

Ontario has not really existed for up to two decades. The GTA with help from the Ottawa ridings have taken over the Province. These twin cities reject any semblance of conservatism and are on the hell bent path to destruction. Of course the PC political elitists in Toronto have a stranglehold over PC Ontario policy and the choosing of leadership. As usual, we are stuck with one of their braniac Wheenies as the Leader and their policies will not address the fiscal crisis that Ontario will be in come election time.Lay off teachers and cops and health care and bureaucrats? That will never happen until the Province is completely bankrupt. The best policy is a personal policy. Make the decision to leave Ontario for better pastures. The insane fees and taxes are just going to get worse and worse. Carbon taxes on top of HST on top of huge unaffordable utilities. But we are saving the planet . What a complete travesty and joke.

“So, basically, your solution is to get an idiot, really really high, and have him spout meaningless slogans for good measure? "

Why not, ANDREW STEPHENSON…holy crap, it’s worked for the federal Liberals!

Patrick Brown won the riding. The far right is dead; it’s clear that being “Liberal Lite” is the path to victory. What a surprise that is, eh Rebel?

“Conservatives saw that Rob Ford populism is the answer to putting true conservative administration at work again but they shudder at the media hell storm he underwent "

So, basically, your solution is to get an idiot, really really high, and have him spout meaningless slogans for good measure? That just about sums up conservatism in a nutshell. Rob Ford benefited from a personality cult, as is Trump, but it’s a rare individual that can solicit that.

I’ve always believed the Ontario PCs troubles started at the party executive level at the end of Harris’s tenure and repurcussed in what the exec-rigged leadership process produced as a “leader?”.

Let’s be honest, the PCs have not seen real leaders and leadership teams since the days of Davis and Harris. Competent leadership candidates do not go near Ontario provincial politics because it has become such a media-corrupted cesspool. Eaves, Tory, and all who followed were the result of CINO party apparatchiks who basically apologize for being right of center and who want ideologically androgynous candidates who cover the narrow spectrum of media-accepted Politically correct ideologies – face men who will not draw heat from a media who are now patrons of dysfunctional kleptocratic crony collectivism.

Ontario needs another Mike Harris and nothing less – there has to be some real conservative tough love and heavy lifting in getting the fiscal house in order and the checkbook balanced – that needs to be done as a matter of the province’s survival – and once the “blue meanie” has accomplished fiscal stability and economic prosperity is in ascension again, the leadership should be handed over to a kinder gentler progressive conservative leader who knows how to spend wisely and maintain equilibrium between Keynesian and Austrian school economic governing. Most of all, get government out of soliciting special interest for funding, legislate an end to union extortion of public funds and neutralize media hysteria with grass roots popular support.

Conservatives saw that Rob Ford populism is the answer to putting true conservative administration at work again but they shudder at the media hell storm he underwent – The media can be tamed and the unions read the riot act if it is done intelligently and carried off with strategic planning and commitment from the entire party membership to the caucus and leader – that level of cohesive effort and insight does not exist in the PC organization because the people from successful private sector life who could organize and lead a conservative renaissance reject the sleaze and ego wars of provincial party politics.

With the encouragement of Parents As First Educators (PAFE), Queenie Yu entered the race as an Independent to force the s/x-ed issue, making a clear commitment to repealing Wynne’s program. PAFE describes Brown’s machinations in response as follows: "Many voters in that riding had no idea that Patrick flip-flopped. As the Toronto Star points out 13,000 copies of Patrick Brown’s letter committing to scrap the curriculum were distributed in the riding door-to-door, in multiple languages. Then Patrick flip-flopped and stated to the English media that he is in fact FOR the radical s/x-ed.
This a riding where 90% of the residents are visible minorities and for many, they don’t speak or read in English. Voters went to the polls believing he would scrap the s/x-ed. So Patrick Brown managed to get the “scrap” s/x-ed vote Scarborough-Rouge River, while telling the rest of the province that he is FOR the curriculum…If it hadn’t been for Queenie entering the race and causing a divide among typical PC voters, Patrick would have never issued any statement whatsoever on s/x-ed. Now we have seen his true colours".
His true colours indeed! Brown has declared “I am determined to lead a PC Party that is modern, inclusive, pragmatic”. An example of pragmatism at work; speak out of both sides of your mouth!

I believe P Brown supports a carbon tax. Strike 1. I believe P Brown is having a problem following the sexual soup that K Wynne proposes. Flip flip flop flop. Strike 2. I hope he doesn’t get another curve ball.

SEAN PENSON: I see you have crawled out of the cellar. Just FYI Sean, the Tea Party in the US is NOT dead, as much as you would wish such.

Patrick Brown smiles too much. His hair is always wet with mousse or whatever shit he is slicking on his head. He is looking more and more like a wanna be gangster in a suit with a smidgeon of Justin Kardashian thrown in for the appeal factor. He is as fake as a three dollar bill. Still, I would rather see him in the chair than the outright criminal degenerate pervert Wynnie.

Neo-fascism is dead.

Just like the Reform Party.

And,

Just like the Tea Party in the USA!

Moderates are the answer.

The ultra right that Ezra & Rebel media champion is a symptom of Ernest Mannin & the Alberta Social Credit, not true conservatism!

Brown has declared “I am determined to lead a PC Party that is modern, inclusive, pragmatic”. Brown is the poster boy for the new ‘conservative’. Pragmatism includes being two-faced. Forget conservative principles and values, but rather, bow to political correctness and ‘progressive’ social ideas and think that is a formula to get elected. Wynne can’t believe her lucky stars! Just another symptom of insanity gripping our land.
