I love hitting the road to talk to ordinary people about their lives, their problems, their triumphs and, especially, what they love about their home towns.
This year, I made two special trips:
To Texas and Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Long time locals and newcomers alike told me about what made life in these two oil industry capitals special.
Meet the gay Metis ethical oil booster, and the Texas ranchers who've embraced fracking while preserving their traditional lifestyle and the environment around them.

Very good idea, I live in Alberta and have been saying the same thing about a port in Churchill Manitoba. It would be much better for Alta, Sask, and Man to work together and say to %#!! with BC, Ont and Que.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you Ezra and all the Rebel staff!
Please keep up the great work you do.
Do you think it’s possible to build a pipeline to Churchil? I think that would be a lot better for the oil industry, than having to put a pipe through Ontario and Quebec.
Merry Christmas to my brothers and sisters in the Rebel family.
Learned a lot about Alberta Oilsands, Texas Cookin’ , and EZRA- as a really nice guy.
Again………………………………..Christmas , and Honnacha BLESSINGS!
