A “philosopher” named Travis Rieder has taken “reduce, reuse, recycle” to its logical conclusion. He’s calling for “population engineering.”
The thing is: Dr. Rieder has a child of his own. It’s other peoples’ children he wants to get rid of.
But that’s a theme with global warming extremists. Al Gore has four kids. David Suzuki has five.
Remember how the late Maurice Strong, the under-secretary general of the UN who led its global warming conferences, used to talk about government licenses to have children?

It’s worse than the usual socialism, or hatred of progress. It’s an anti-human authoritarian instinct that sees people as poison. If you were religious you might even call it demonic, or satanic.
I don’t think Travis Rieder has the courage of his convictions to say he wants to limit babies in Africa and Asia, the two continents that are still growing.
He knows that’s racist, and he doesn’t quite have the courage of Margaret Sanger. Yet...

The Soviet Union had resources beyond the belief of most nations & at one point had a third of the world within it’s trading block & it still ended up going bankrupt. China was heading that way before it set up it’s “free market” zones. The West is heading in this direction, we should be looking at what’s waiting for us when we get there.

Relating to a comment in this interview – Incredibly China, with a draconian one-child policy since c.1979, has NOT driven down FRs as effectively as the EU accomplished with predatory anti-parenting policies.
