POLL: Voters turn against cap & trade schemes after they learn THIS “inconvenient truth”

Rebel Staff

Politicians and activists present "carbon" schemes as something "the polluters," that is, big corporations, will pay for. Guest host Jerry Agar reports on a new poll proving that taxpayers change their minds about these plans once they learn who really foots the bill.

What is wrong with higher taxes? After all it will be used to save the planet, RIGHT? Well what could go wrong??

Wynne could care less!

She is a power hungry dictator and will do whatever she pleases, regardless of what the voters want. She is the most corrupt and treasonous politician in the history of Canada and should be hung for her crimes against Ontario!!

Knowing the smarmy little queer, Glen Murray is involved in this scheme is enough reason to do everything possible to object loudly to this tax. If you think this cap and trade is bad for your pocket book, wait until Trudeau piles on with his punitive carbon tax.

So what exactly is the goal of a cap and trade scheme? The goal is another money grab by government . It is also a way to reward liberal 1%ers. It has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with $$$$$$

Evolution… great post…!
Anyway it’s just a human reaction someone that clearly needs a little behind the woodshed education…
Spare the rod and spoil the politician.
Yes Christ did say and do all those things but I don’t believe there’s a passage in the Bible that says you can’t drum them out of town after all the only time the Christ ever got violent was in the house of the money changers.

Cap and trade is a terrible tax system of sorts that will just complicate things. Time for Cathy to go.

Leviticus 2013, you really shouldn’t be saying you have a desire to punch someone in the mouth. You could get charged for such a declaration on the internet. Threatening like that which is what it really is, could make one fear for their safety. Specially a Homosexual like her, when threatened by a guy like you who likely is a great guy but has Leviticus 20:13 as a moniker. You do know that unlike Leviticus 18:22, that 20:13 threatens death. So. you are walking on thin Ice.

And as for Jesus, the stone that the builders rejected that has become the chief corner stone. He took the stoning out of the Law, he took the eye for an eye out of the Law. So, while I also think Cathy Whynee is a pervert, the only one who will be judge and Jury and Executioner of Her for her perversions will be Jesus Christ and not us.

And the Gospel is that Jesus was pounded to death, by his own choice for the sins of people like Cathy or you or me, so that we have a free ticket if we chose to follow him. So, Even Cathy at a moments notice could chose to follow Christ and have all her sins washed away by that act, and could reconcile with God. Clearly by her actions she hasn’t. Clearly she is a terrible Liberal etc. But punching her in the mouth would make you no different than her. And Jesus said, what a man thinks in his heart so is he.

Every time I see her face I have the overwhelming need to repeatedly punch her in her mouth and I’m not even remotely close to a violent person… It’s just her mouth is so damn offensive the way it looks the way it sounds and what comes out of it… It desperately needs to be repeatedly punched

I absolutely loathe Wynne! She is a disgusting, lying sack of shit and a criminal who has nothing but contempt for Ontario!

The same useless peices of shit that voted for her are the same POS that voted for Trudeau and will not be happy until they have completely destroyed Canada!

james scott commented – “So what exactly is the goal of a cap and trade scheme?”

It will provably do nothing to change climate cycles and it is/has been proven to be a corrupt system of covert revenue generation publicly-funded an crony corporate kickback schemes, It is a taxation racketeering system.

Cap-and-trade schemes create a market for emissions credits that allow a fixed amount of carbon to go into the atmosphere. If an emitter wants to go over its allotment, it can buy surplus credits through an open trading market. (Smell something funny? Does this not emulate debt trading derivatives markets and all the potential for fraud and collusion profiteering that represents?)

Cap-and-trade systems have a bad habit of maintaing value. The set emissions prices typically fall within a few years to a fraction of their original value. Just as printing more money lowers the value of existing bank notes, the more credits a government issues, the less valuable they become.

Credits on the European Climate Exchange (ECX), for example, once traded for as much as €30 per ton. Today, the price is down to €7 per ton. Similarly, California’s trading system, which Ontario is poised to join, has seen the price of emissions halved from $23 a ton in 2011 to slightly more than $12.

What exactly do those types of emissions prices accomplish, aside from providing billions in new revenues to cash-strapped governments? Well nothing to the original goal which was climate change and carbon emissions. German Chancellor Angela Merkel put a €7 charge on emissions but coal usage is booming in her country as a response to shuttered nuclear plants and the economic failure of wing power.

Cap and trade is Wynn’s last desperate tax garb to stay out of red ink insolvency but it will fail like all her policies have.

So what exactly is the goal of a cap and trade scheme?
Supposedly (we’re told) it is to reduce Carbon emissions into the atmosphere? Correct?
This idea defies logic.
And then you throw government beaurocrats into the mix. Pay off CBC with 1.3B, to deliver the phony message to the sheeple. The sheeple, who 98% or more have never owned and operated a business of any size, thinks its just a sunny idea and go along for the ride.
At the end of the day Cap and Trade is targeted against corporations (not for), so governments can get their grimy little paws on people’s hard earned money in order that they can redistribute it amongst their sheeple. To pay for things like Ralph Goodale’s Islamic Therapeutics Center.

Not a problem for me.

Ontario’s carbon-credit exchange will be like that in California, and as I have there, I will be buying credits and selling them at inflated prices. The prices have to inflate to offset the massive deficits that Ontario will be running in the years to come. The difference is that I sell my credits for profit; the Ontario government, as they do in California, have to keep them in their respective portfolios. And I look forward to Canada adopting mark-to-market accounting, where profits are declared before the revenue is actually earned. That’s the only way it’s possible to declare offsets to the spectacular debt growth.

Any money I raise against land that own I will use the NDP money against them and donate it to the political party of my choice in which case would be Wild Rose…
commented 2016-08-20 15:01:06 -0400
How much land do you need to qualify for a tax carbon credit and who do you see about that..
commented 2016-08-20 14:55:55 -0400
Carbon cap schemes have been proven to be nothing but public subsidized profiteering rackets by corporate polluters – Germany killed the program after stating it created too much “corruption” in credit claims.

Of course Canada’s most gluttonous Kleptocratic regime in Ontario would try to install such proven corporate fraud because they have a lot of corporate payola to hand out after their corporate clients paid big bucks to Liberal “fundraising” dinners.

You think your power bill, grocery bill and housing costs are expensive now?

Wait until the dyke brings this one in.

You are going to be amazed at how much more money the dyke is stealing is stealing from you.

If you own land you will be able to sell carbon credits.

Time to buy land.

It’s happening right now.

In California, the state is running an $11 billion surplus. How? Well, they raised some taxes, but the one thing they did was open their cap & trade to speculation. The result is that California carbon-credits are sold at a premium, thanks to their inflated prices. The government claims a healthy commission and their portfolio of credits increases its value, which they call the surplus. Problem is the credits are held in inventory, not sold, and are considered an appreciating asset. Since the number of exchanges are few, California is, at this time, one of a few places to get the credits. This requires that polluters pay higher prices to get their credits. But what happens when polluters stop buying, because the price of the credits is just too high? The market collapses, the surpluses evaporate, and the state budget is wrecked by reality.

Just another scheme to get more money out of your wallet or purse ladies . It is never about the environment, you don’t expect them to spend there own money to buy votes with do you, They will waste every dime every last one. Notley in alberta is the same, So look forward to seeing her get the boot. Kenny has already said he will axe the tax, He will win because he will unite the right it is easy JUST GET RID OF EVERY REDFORD LIBERAL AND THE VOTES WILL FOLLOW. the NDP will lose big next election.
