Kirk Cousins, Redskins notch 4th consecutive win

The Redskins’ 27-20 win against the Philadelphia Eagles was not perfect. They allowed a special teams touchdown. Cousins threw an interception that was returned for another touchdown. But, there is an enormous four in their win column now.

Third quarter: Redskins up 24-14

The Washington Redskins added a 32-yard field goal by Dustin Hopkins to take a 24-14 lead into the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Halftime: Redskins up 21-14,; Kerrigan injured

Two non-offensive touchdowns put the Philadelphia Eagles right back into the Week 6 matchup against the Washington Redskins, but a late Matt Jones touchdown put the Redskins up 21-14 at the half.

Roethlisberger injured against Dolphins

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has suffered a knee injury that likely will keep him out of the rest of Sunday’s game and raises fears about the Pittsburgh Steelers oft-injured star.

First quarter: Redskins up 7-0

Initially, both the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles struggled to move the ball offensively, but a 35-yard reception by DeSean Jackson, a 15-yard run by Matt Jones and a 16 yard touchdown reception by Jamison Crowder heated up the game, giving the Redskins a 7-0 lead after the first quarter.
