Jessica Melugin

Adjunct Fellow

Ms. Melugin is an adjunct fellow who works with CEI's technology policy team. Her research focuses on technology issues including encryption, electronic commerce, Internet taxation, and privacy policy. Her writings have appeared in The New York Times, The San Diego Union-Tribune, The Fortworth Star-Telegram, The Sacramento Bee, The Washington Times, The San Jose Mercury News, and various regional papers.

Ms. Melugin graduated magna cum laude from Claremont McKenna College, with a degree in government and art history. Her honors thesis explored the development of American antitrust law as it pertains to the Microsoft trial. Prior to graduation Ms. Melugin was an intern in CEI's environmental department. Before coming to CEI, she was a Public Policy Fellow at the Center for Freedom and Technology at the Pacific Research Institute.
