Monday on MSNBC, Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough repeatedly equated President Donald Trump with David Duke. After MoveOn’s Karine Jean-Pierre declared there’s no difference between “the Twitter feed of the President of the United States and a radical racist white supremacist,” Scarborough jumped in: “David Duke. Seriously, you could ask people, did David Duke say this or did Donald Trump say this?”

Still, the hosts agreed that the raids were racist and cruel. Co-host Sunny Hostin even claimed that the President was “terrorizing citizens.”

A discussion about the citizenship question quickly got heated on Sunday's edition of Fox News Sunday.  Juan Williams, columnist for The Hill and liberal co-host of The Five, implied that President Trump's goal in adding the citizenship question to the census was to "intimidate or scare people who are here undocumented." Donald Trump. Following the resignation of Labor Secretary Alex Acosta — who had come under scrutiny for a shockingly favorable plea deal he had previously granted Epstein as a federal prosecutor — both Stelter and Mattingly brandished Acosta’s resignation as the latest example of instability and high turnover within the White House.

On his MSNBC show Saturday Night Politics, Donny Deutsch insisted that Democrats have to warn that the "fascist stuff is coming" in the next two (or six) years of President Trump. It's a funnier idea that liberals don't exploit fear in their politics, or haven't dared to suggest Trump is a fascist or Nazi or dictator.
