Reed/Ambrulevicius teamed up in spring 2017. Reed's older siblings Cathy and Chris competed at the Olympic level in Ice Dance, representing Japan. Chris continued to compete with Kana Muramoto until 2018. Reed competed for Georgia and Israel with her former partners. The couple missed the European Championships 2018 as she was injured.
