This game is from The Complete Guide to Checkers (also titled Secrets of Checkerboard Strategy) by Tom Wiswell. He gives this game as a second example of an impressive shot by Jacques (see Famous Opening Shots for the famous one). This delightful game has a few mistakes, which I will point out here:
