UK & European Surface Mail 10%
European & US Air Mail 20%
Rest of World Airmail 30%
3. When will I be charged for my order?
Wargames Worlds policy is to never charge a customer for a product until the day that it has been physically picked for shipping.
Payment details are collected via our secure web site and sent as a 128 bit encrypted file to our mail order department, to be manually processed by our staff when your order is ready for dispatch.
4. How long will it take to process my order?
80% of orders are dispatched the day, or next working day from the day they were received. We have a significant holding of all of the popular products we sell, dedicated mail order staff and contract collections every working day.
If we do not have a product in stock, that item is put on back order and raised on a Purchase Order with a supplier. We order from most of our suppliers once a week. It is possible for a product to be out of stock with the manufacturers or wholesalers, in which case the item remains on back order until we have fulfilled it or the customer has cancelled it.
5. If I pre-order an item or have an item put on back order will it hold up the rest of my order?
No, if you have ordered 10 items and 1 is not in stock we will charge you for 9 and 90% of the postage immediately and dispatch those goods. The remaining 1 item and 10% of the postage would go on back order and as soon as stock comes in to fulfil it, it would be charged and dispatched.
6. How long will my order take to come once you have dispatched it?
UK deliveries are sent 1st Class and should be with you the day after they are dispatched, two days after dispatch at the latest. Orders over £40 are sent recorded, orders over £70 are sent Special delivery guaranteeing delivery before 12:00 the following day. We are happy to send smaller packets Special delivery if you add this as a request in the comments field of your order agreeing that you are happy to pay the cost of that service.
The UK Post Office advises that on average international deliveries take-
Air Mail:
Western Europe 2 days*
Eastern Europe 3 days*
Outside Europe 4 days*
Surface Mail:
Western Europe 2 weeks*
Eastern Europe 4 weeks*
Outside Europe 8 weeks*
*Working days following the day of posting.
7. What should I do if a product is damaged or missing a part?
Please notify us ideally be email quoting the product reference of the faulty product and your order reference number and we will advise you what to do. Normally we split open a product to get the replacement part and send it to you as this reduces postage cost compared to you sending the whole product back and us re-shipping a complete product.
8. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most credit / Debit cards (Visa / Mastercard / American Express / Switch etc.), Sterling Cheques or Sterling International Money Orders and Postal Orders payable to Wargames World.
We charge the same prices to customers wherever they are in the World, converted into their local currency at the currency exchange rate operable at the time of payment.
9. Why do you not have a photo of 'x' on your site?
We have around 10,000 items available in our shops, we have collected many thousands of images. Collecting an image for every product as a mammoth task. Each week we upload 50-100 new images to our site, but manufacturers are constantly adding new products to their ranges. If you want to see 'x' before you buy and there is not a photo on our site, let us know by email and we will try to source and load one as high priority.
