Arena - The home of the Arena program, a complete GUI for engine play (now with DGT support too).

Babaschess - A fantastic free FICS client.

Bill Wall's Chess Page - A real potpourri.

Bruno's Chess Problem Of The Day - Free chess problem each day with a java viewer. Also has archive section.

Chess Academy- Chess database and training software, created in cooperation with Chess Informant.

ChessAid - Lessons, game analysis by IMs and GMs.

ChessAssistance - My other site, dedicated to Chess Assistant and Convekta products. It contains help, tutorials and reviews.

ChessAssistant/Convekta - Home of Chess Assistant.

Chess Cafe - A neat site with many reviews and informative columns.

Chess City - Eric Schiller's site, has some short reviews and his Caxton XML spec.

ChessExplorer - A program for solving chess problems (mate, selfmate, helpmate) with other options. For Win32; shareware.

Chess Flashcard Trainer - My own program for tactical drills and test-position based training.

Chess in Richmond - Lessons, where and when to play, by Brian Sumner.

Chess House - If you buy a lot of chess stuff, then you need to check these guys out - they have a volume discount

Chess Informant - The home of Informant publications in the former Yugoslavia. They now have electronic versions of many of their publications available. Check their site for more information.

CHESSOPOLIS - A chess directory site, full of great stuff.

Chess Position Trainer - An interesting freeware alternative for storing your repertoire.

Chess Puzzles Series - Home of some unique programs for increasing chess ability in the young and old.

Chessbase Gmbh - Home of chessbase, Germany

Chessbits - A good site for chess news and some program reviews (but the latter is not free)

Chess Composition Books - Anders Thulin provides this excellent resource. On this page are a number of free, public domain problem texts for download.

Chess Graphics Site - A great place to go for graphics - an amazing site!

ChessLab - Boris Shneyderman 's online chess database. 2 million games, positional search, and online chess engine.

Chess Vision - A chess database program with built-in playing engine and internet chess interface.

Chess Weekly - Convekta's website with weekly chess news, analysis, and combinations.

Club Kasparov - Interesting analysis and a sharp looking site.

Computer Chess News - A great site with the latest computer chess news and gossip.

Conn. Chess Magazine - Game analysis, links, and a lot more - by Rob Roy.

Chess Lessons from FM Ralph Dubisch - Ralph has some samples of his work on his home page. I would recommend that you take a look if you are think about taking some lessons.

Gady Costeff's page - Contains pdfs of EG magazine.

DGT Projects - Home of the DGT electronic board and clock.

DonationCoder.com - An interesting concept in software development, and a neat collection of free utilities. Site also has reviews and software discounts.

Edinburgh University Chess Pages - A good starting point for all sorts of chessic info

Exeter chess club coaching page - There is some interesting stuff here. Make sure you download their collection of canonical games/positions for use with your database program.

Harald Faber - Harald is a computer chess old timer. He has some interesting insights into various programs.

Don Fong's Chessbd page - You can get Don's interface to FICS/ICC and tmseal here

Food for Thought Software - Makers of chess club management and tutorial software.

Global Chess News - A nicely designed site with all the current news.

Grandmaster Chess School - A site to watch. Contains GM annotated games and more.

Shane Hudson - Shane is the author of Scid, a very good freeware database.

Hiarcs  - The home of Mark Uniacke's PC and Palm based playing programs.

ICD/ChessUSA.com - Chess software/hardware/book sales.

ICD/ChessUSA.com Computer Chess Resource Page - Computer Chess Club (CCC). Registration required.

John Coffey's Site - A killer site for chess problems, exercizes and other interesting tidbits

Claude Kaber's Home Page - Contains a large set of exercises in Chessbase 6.0+ format. Simply a must see for Chessbase users.

Chris Kantack's Site - Chris has a page that reviews handheld chess computers, and Palm chess software.

Ilya Kozachenko's Page - Some interesting paper reprints on the subject of computer chess here. He also offers a free EPD viewer, and a utility for searching the CCC archives.

Les Echecs - In french, but you will be able to find your way around. Offers a large game collection CD, and free annotated games.

Mac Chess Links, by Richard Fowell - 'Nuff said.

Mining Company/Sean Whalen's Chess Links - A frequently updated short list of links on chess.

Mr. Mip's Chess Palace - go here at your own risk.

MyChessSite.net - A nuke-driven chess portal with a wide variety of chess related info.

Net Blitz - A free program that allows you to play chess with another person over a network. It also supports bughouse play.

New in Chess Your Link to the Chess World - A good place for links, purveyors of NicBase .

Norresundby Chess Club - Chess fonts, diagram making utilities.

Georgi Orlov's Site - Chess Shop, news and lots of articles.

Guenther Ossimitz's Site - Contains collections of games that correspond to those in famous books.

Joe Pechie - Joe has some interesting info on winboard compatibility under Chess Assistant.

IM Jovan Petronic - Jovan has been involved with computer chess for some time, is a coach, and is very involved in the asian chess scene. He also has some software reviews that you can look at.

PGN utilities page - Worth a look-see for your PGN needs.

Pitt FTP site - A ftp site that has a great collection of famous games, and many programs too.

Frank Quisinsky's Winboard Page - Go here for interesting info on Winboard programs.

R&D Chess superstore - An internet/mail order house for books/software and all sorts of stuff. Good columns at this site.

Roman's Chess Page - Roman Jiganchine's chess page, check out his annotated games.

SchemingMind.com - Online Correspondence Chess Club

Seagaard Chess Reviews - A nicely indexed site with reviews of chess books and software.

Shredder Chess  - The home of the Shredder Chess engine and GUI. Has a freely downloadable demo of Shredder. Also has information on the UCI protocol as well.

Soundkeepers - Very easy to use e-mail chess, no software (except e-mail and browser) required.

Aaron Tay's winboard page- An excellent source of information on winboard and engine related questions.

The Chess Portal - A comprehensive selection of well-described links, plus a message board.

University of Nis Computer Chess Page - There is a lot of good stuff at this site. The best place to go for Winboard engines and computer chess info.

VA Chess Page - Lots of info on VA events, and additional software reviews
