| Palm HIARCS playing chess on your Pocket PC!You can now run the world's strongest PDA chess program, Palm Chess HIARCS, on your Pocket PC under the StyleTap platform! Under the StyleTap platform the famous Palm HIARCS ARM chess engine will run fast and with full features on Pocket PCs. We have noticed on Pocket PC 2003 with the latest Intel XScale processors, the performance is about 25% slower than on a Palm with the same CPU. Depending on the processor and the Pocket PC OS version the performance may be different. You are advised to check the product for satisfactory operation on your Pocket PC before purchase. Due to the fact the Palm Desktop is not available on the Pocket PC/StyleTap platform it is not possible to import and export PGN games. Pocket PCs with a QVGA screen resolution of 240x320 will have the choice of a 160x160 or 240x240 screen display under the StyleTap platform. If you wish to purchase Palm HIARCS to run on your Pocket PC we recommend the following: 1) Download the StyleTap trial version and install it on your Pocket PC. 2) Download Palm Chess HIARCS and use the StyleTap installer to install it on your Pocket PC. 3) Ensure you are happy with both StyleTap and Palm Chess HIARCS on your Pocket PC. 4) In order to be able to use Palm HIARCS with full features on your Pocket PC you will need to purchase both StyleTap and Palm HIARCS.
