1C Company released the GC 2005 movie from XIII Century: Death or Glory, showcasing this 3D RTS that combines Risk-style global strategy game play with real-time tactical action (thanks: 3DGamers). The game immerses players in the Middle Ages, into a world of noble knights and ruthless nomads, a world of courageous deeds and internal wars. As a leader of one of the European nations in the XIII Century, gamers are tasked to test their steel against the neighboring nations and carve their names into history. Among the playable factions are the French, the English, the Germans, the Russians, the Spaniards and others. Gamers have to defend the crown against such nations as the Mongols, the Prussians, the Scotch and others. Developed by Unicorn Games Studio, XIII Century: Death or Glory will be available in 2006.

The GC 2005 movie of Blood Magic is now available for download, showcasing this 3rd person RPG in the works at SkyFallen Entertainment. The game is set in a richly detailed medieval fantasy world, allowing the player a wide variety of choices both in individual quests and character development. Blood Magic is different from most other popular RPG titles in that the player characters are all of one type: Mage. There are over a dozen different fields of magic, allowing players many choices for specialization. The magical varieties are especially useful in multiplayer games, allowing each member of a party to have different specialization. The most unique aspect of the magic system is the ability to combine spells. In addition to converting the single-player story line to allow multiplayer gameplay, players may take their multiplayer characters and compete in 2-person duels or in large arenas against many others in true melee combat. 1C Company will publish this game in Eastern Europe, whilst HD Interactive will release it throughout the rest of the world.

Jowood Productions has released a new Panzer Elite Action movie, showcasing this fast-paced WW2 action game in the works at Zootfly. Panzer Elite Action lets the player to feel the power of 30 tons of steel armor around them and gives them the ability to command increasingly powerful tanks in a series of intense and dramatic battles. Panzer Elite Action tells the story of three tank commanders and their crew. The German commander, flushed with the success of the Blitzkrieg in Poland and France, moves on to the Eastern Front and the brink of victory with the taking of Stalingrad. The Russian commander is in desperate straits as he helps defend Stalingrad, and joins the massive tank battle of Kursk. The American commander enters the war on the Normandy Beachhead on D-Day. We have now the GC 2005 movie of Wildlife Park 2, the sequel to the game developed by NovaTrix. Wildlife Park 2 features realistic weather conditions, botanical gardens, a highly advanced strategic and business simulation engine, over 50 animal species with realistic animal behaviour, more than 50 animal shelters, visitor facilities and staff buildings and mnay more. Wildlife Park 2 will be released by Deep Silver in Q1 2006.

Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. and DC Studios announced the signing of a worldwide publishing agreement for State of Emergency 2 on PlayStation2, planned for release in the fourth quarter. The sequel takes place 10 years after the original and has Spanky, Bull and MacNeill again up against the Corporation. This time, they not only have access to guns but also - for the first time - helicopters, speedboats, Tanks and APCs and new team members. State of Emergency 2 will add a full story-based single-player game to the challenge modes and split-screen multiplayer modes.

Buka Entertainment released the E3/GC 2005 trailer of Operation Matriarchy, the FPS in the works at MADia Entertainment and scheduled for a Q3 2005 release (thanks: 3DGamers). In this game, you are a trooper of the government army sent with the expeditionary force to attack Velian. As you accomplish missions given to you at the headquarters, you get new opportunities in selection of weapons and military equipment. Each mission will also get you closer to the secret of the origin of the Velian anomaly of the human race. The Adventure Company today released a GC 2005 trailer and the first screenshots from Journey to the Center of the Moon, a captivating graphic adventure based on legendary author Jules Verne's From the Earth the Moon. The game is developed by Kheops Studios and for the moment they have not set a release date.

THQ today released more screenshots from Tak 3: The Great Juju Challenge, the next installment of the series due to be out on GameCube and PlayStation 2 during Q1 2006, on Nintendo DS and GBA during Q3/Q4 of this year. The top teams from across the world have come to compete in The Great Juju Challenge. Representing the Pupanunu tribe are Tak and Lok who will face great adversity in the form of Jujus, wild animals and some menacing new tribes.

DreamCatcher Games has released a few new screenshots from Cold War: Behind the Iron Curtain, the upcoming tactical action-adventure game in the works at Mindware Studios. The game follows the story of a freelance journalist who finds himself in the midst of an international conspiracy that aims to control the U.S.S.R. Twelve hours after arrival in Moscow for a routine story, he has been stripped of all possessions, beaten unconscious and thrown into the KGB's political prison. Using only recovered weapons and improvised gadgets, he must now evade or overcome elite Soviet forces and defeat the conspiracy before he is sent to a Siberian prison camp or killed. Cold War will be distributed in the UK by Mindscape on 27th September, 2005.

The Adventure Company released a new batch of screenshots from And Then There Were None, the first title in a series of games based on the books from legendary mystery author, Agatha Christie. If you read the book, you know the story: 10 people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Shipwreck Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear. One by one, they share the darkest secrets of their wicked pasts, and one by one, they die. Compared with the book, there will be a 11th character, the player, a boatman who brings the others to the island and then is trapped there himself. To save the lives of the intended victims, the player must unravel the motives behind the murders and uncover the identity of the killer. If successful, he will spare not only the lives of the remaining guests, but also his own. In the works at AWE Games, And Then There Were None will ship this fall.

EGOSOFT has released the Games Convention 2005 movie of X³: REUNION, the upcoming space-sim which will be available on the PC on September 30th. The game uses the X³ Reality engine and the universe has been massively increased, both in terms of size and visual presentation, with over 200 newly designed models (factories, stations and star ships) and over 10,000 interactive objects. There's a new economy system, dynamically reactive in pricing relative to supply and demand, a better A.I and a carefully planned storyline. New screenshots found their way in our gallery.

Nobilis released the GC 2005 trailer a huge batch of screenshots from Great invasions, which are now uploaded in our gallery. The game covers 3 periods from AD 375 to 1066 with over 10 scenarios and a Grand Campaign, being historically accurate in what regards the politics, economy, diplomacy, religion and art of war of those periods. A new El Matador movie has been added in our download area offering one minute of gameplay footage from this third person stealth action game in the works at Plastic Reality Technologies. Player takes on the role of a DEA agent, whose aim is to bring down the narkomafia, an organised crime syndicate in South America. Driven by revenge for what the narkomafia did to his brother, the player will progress through a story which weaves its way throughout the adventure, combines all the essential features of surprise, unexpected twists and dramatic developments. Cyanide Studios today released a new trailer and a few screenshots from Chaos League: Sudden Death, this real-time sports strategy game which will add three new races, each with new and unique abilities, 19 additional hero characters, the auto-casting spells feature, new tournament modes, a new spectator mode and more. A new movie of Test Drive Unlimited has been added in our gallery, illustrating this racing game in the works at Eden Games. Playlogic International announced they will publish Wizard of Funk, a game where the player takes on the role of a young wizard and has to physically cast spells in front of the EyeToy Camera to defeat monsters in this first RPG title for EyeToy. Wizard of Funk features 3D Cartoon shaded graphics, over 25 spells to learn and master, 6 music-inspired lands to explore, many items to find and to equip, and more.

Playlogic International released new screenshots from Sparta – Ancient Wars, a game which features a revolutionary physics engine, developed for real time strategy games, which enables all units, buildings and the environment (e.g. trees, rocks, water, fire) to interact with each other. Sparta: Ancient Wars will offer three campaigns with 30 missions and different races, battles without a limitation of unit numbers and more.

Around the world in 80 Days features a real time 3D universe, 100 characters to meet and interact with, various levels of difficulty, vehicles (from Elephants to an Airship), clothes animation, lip-synch, particles system and many more.

New screenshots from the PC and PS2 versions of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and the first trailer have been added in our download area, illustrating this action/adventure title inspired by the upcoming motion picture from Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media. UK software developer Traveller’s Tales is currently creating the console and PSP titles, while Griptonite Games, the handheld entertainment division of Seattle-based Amaze Entertainment, is developing the titles for Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be released this Holiday season, in conjunction with film’s release, for the PC, Xbox, PS2, GC, GBA, DS and PSP - the game will be exclusive to PS2 throughout PAL territories until 31 March 2006.

Bandai released new screenshots from One Piece Grand Battle, showcasing this fighting game in the works at Ganbarion and slated for a September 2005 release, for PS2 and GC. One Piece Grand Battle features 16 playable pirates with 32 additional support characters, 6 game play modes including Grand Battle and 2 player Versus Mode, interactive 3D environments and many more. We have eight new screenshots from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, the first game to combine fighting and flying in wide open, destructible 3D environments. The game is developed by Spike and should be available in November. There is also a small fact sheet with a few details about the game, if you press 'read more'.

Finnish game developer Frozenbyte sent us new screenshots from Shadowgrounds, the game previously known as Preyground. Set in the near future, the game pits the player against oncoming alien hordes who are invading a colony base. The storyline includes investigating alien origins, helping in rescue evacuation and setting up defense perimeters. The player gets help from many allies who play an essential part in the overall story. Weapons can be customized with multiple upgrades, maximizing the carnage, and the environment is destructibile, allowing players to wreak havoc in full scale. Shadowgrounds will be out in the German speaking countries in early October.

Our Tony Tough 2 gallery has been updated with seven screenshots from the prequel to Tony Tough and the Night of Roasted Moths which will be published in the German-speaking areas in Q4 of 2004. As dtp has the international rights for the title, publishers interested in licensing the title in their territories are welcome to get in contact with the German company.

L.A. As previously announced by MTV, L.A. Midway released screenshots from the PS2 and Xbox versions of Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, the game which marks the rebirth of the legendary Gauntlet franchise. Scheduled for release on the PlayStation2, Xbox and PC this winter, Seven Sorrows is the fusion of fantasy fighting action with the strategy of user-friendly RPG elements, a very beautiful storyline and a new fighting system. Our gallery has been updated with new screens from the PS2 and Xbox versions of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, the next installment of the very successful Mortal Kombat franchise scheduled for release this fall. Shaolin Monks is an action/adventure title driven by both intense single and multi-player action. Similar to the recently released Mortal Kombat: Deception, background interactions (i.e., acid pits, living trees, spiked ceilings, etc.), multiple new fatalities, and action-based puzzles will also play an important role in the player's quest for an "outstanding" victory". Set in the unforgiving streets and prisons of Baltimore, the player once again controls Torque as he seeks revenge against the mysterious grand manipulator Blackmore. Blue Fang Games released new screenshots from Endangered Species, the expansion pach for Zoo Tycoon 2 which includes new animals and elevated paths for the zoo. Elevated paths really open up a lot of doors when building zoos. Now fans can make large pools for the crocs or hippos and create elevated paths to extend over the large body of water. Before fans might have had to divide the pool into two separate areas to make sure the guests had a good view.

Our Age of Empires III gallery has been updated with four beautiful screenshots, illustrating this upcoming 3D real-time strategy game. The latest installment of the series picks up where Age of Empires II: Age of Kings left off, placing gamers in the position of a European power determined to explore, colonize and conquer the New World. This time period features stunning scenes, from towering European cathedrals to courageous tribes of Native Americans, and spectacular combat with Industrial Age units like rifled infantry, cavalry and tall ships bristling with cannons. The game will contain new game-play elements, including the concept of a “Home City,“ new civilizations, units, technologies and an immersive new single-player campaign that will span three generations. One of the most interesting additions is the Havok physics engine, so you will see rag-doll effects on bodies or buildings and other objects on the map behaving naturally in different situations.

Electronic Arts sent us new screenshots from the GC, GBA, PS2 and DS versions of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the game in the works at EA's UK studio and is scheduled for release this November, for PC, PS2, Xbox, GC, GBA, DS and PSP. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will offer co-operative play with up to two players, and an all-new spell-casting system, as well as playable characters from the movie (Harry, Ron, and Hermione).

Electronic Arts released new PS2 and Xbox screenshots from Burnout: Revenge, the new racing game scheduled for this September, for PS2 and Xbox. The game is currently in development by Criterion Games and features a new Revenge mode, allowing gamers unleash their frustrations on rush hour traffic.

New screenshots from the Xbox and PS2 versions of Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects have been added in our gallery, illustrating this title in development under the EA GAMES brand and slated for this fall for the PS2, Xbox, GC and PSP. The game will feature Super Heroes from the Marvel Universe as well as a new set of characters created through collaboration with EA and top comic book industry talent, such as Jae Lee and Paul Catling. SSX On Tour allows you to create your own boarder or skier and you can also earn an invitation to The Tour where you'll face the best racers in the SSX cast. Release is scheduled for this winter.

Our gallery has been updated with ten screenshots from The Sims 2 Nightlife, illustrating the second expansion pack for The Sims 2 under development at Maxis. In The Sims 2 Nightlife, players will be able to take their Sims out to an all new downtown location and spice up their lives with an all new dating gameplay and a new life goal focused on pleasure seeking. Launch is scheduled for September 15th 2005 and, of course, you'll need Sims 2 in order to play this expansion.

Our Black and White 2 gallery has been updated with three screenshots showcasing a greek city gate and an epic hurricane. Black and White 2 features new Epic Miracles, including the ground-ripping Earthquake and volcanoes, which cause rivers of lava; new forms of weaponry, from swords to bows to siege machines; multiple tools to help train and improve Creatures (old favorites as the Ape, Cow, and Lion, plus many others); weather systems such as rain, snow, mists, and fog; ten lands homing each of the five tribes.

Our gallery has been updated with nine screenshots from Battlefield: Modern Combat, a new Battlefield title in the works at Digital Illusions which will be released later this year, for the PS2 and Xbox. Battlefield: Modern Combat takes place on the modern battlefields of the world, and allows players to fight for one of three military superpowers: the United States, the Chinese, or a newly formed Middle East Coalition. Players can choose from over 30 different vehicles, 70 weapons and communicate with one another in real time via USB headset. The game will feature a single-player mode, new maps and a multiplayer mode up to 24 players which will require a broadband connection, memory card and network adaptor for PlayStation2 console owners and a subscription to Xbox Live for Xbox owners.

Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) released new screenshots from Spyro: Shadow Legacy, the newest installment of the 17 million-unit-selling Spyro franchise which will introduce magical powers, role playing game (RPG) elements, and martial arts fighting. Developed by Amaze Entertainment, the game will be released this fall, exclusively for Nintendo DS.

Amsterdam based PC games publisher HD Interactive and Hungarian developer Mithis released new screenshots from Joint Task Force, a new real-time strategy game in development by a team within Mithis comprising of, amongst others, all the key personnel and creators of Codename: Panzers - Phase One and S.W.I.N.E.. Scheduled for a worldwide release in Q2 2006, the game will consist of 20 missions that will take us to 5 different parts of the world such as the Middle East, Central Asia and the Balkans.

Vivendi Universal Games has released new screenshots from 50 Cent: Bulletproof, showcasing this game starring hip-hop superstar 50 Cent. In this game, 50 Cent gets caught in a web of corruption, double-crosses and shady deals that lead him on a bloody path through New York's drug underworld. Working with the unlikeliest of allies, the streets heat up as 50 Cent takes on the most dangerous crime families in the city, uncovering an international conspiracy with devastating implications. 50 Cent: Bulletproof will be available this fall.

A new Dragonshard movie has been added in our download area, showcasing this real-time strategy game based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe created by Wizards of the Coast and developed by Liquid Entertainment. Atari has released the first movie for Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge, the 3D action shooter sequel in the works at Spellbound which will be released in Europe in Q4 2005. The game is using Vision Game Engine which is allows players to switch between isometric and third-person combat views at any time. This facility creates new gameplay possibilities where, during brawls or gunfights for example, players can choose to take in the action from a distance to gain a strategic advantage, or get down and dirty in the thick of the fight.

The first Black Buccaneer movie is now locally mirrored, offering one minute and a half of cinematic footage from this horror-action-adventure scheduled to ship in spring of 2006, for PC, PS2 and Xbox. In the works at Widescreen Games, Black Buccaneer tells the story of the young sailor Francis Blade, caught in a strong storm on his way to the new world which left him shipwrecked on the coast of an island. The game will feature 26 levels with tricky mysteries and deathly traps, various different ways to solve the adventure and two playable characters.

Ubisoft sent us new screenshots from Prince of Persia: Kindred Blades, showcasing the next chapter of the series scheduled to release Holiday 2005 for, for PC, PS2, Xbox and GC. The game will feature two playable characters with different combat styles, attitudes, and histories, the Free-Form Fighting system, the city of Babylon, the ability to manipulate time, and more.

This is a new batch of screenshots of King Kong, the game based on the forthcoming Peter Jackson directed remake of the movie King Kong. Peter Jackson’s King Kong is developed by Ubisoft Monreal studio and the French team responsible for Beyond Good & Evil. It will be released worldwide on all platforms at the beginning of the holiday season in conjunction with the December 14, 2005 theatrical release of the movie.

Ubisoft released a new batch of screenshots from Myst V: End of Ages, the last chapter of the Myst series scheduled for this Fall, for PC and Mac. We remind you that a limited DVD edition of Myst V: End of Ages for PC and Mac will be available for the game's September launch. LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE) announced that a new expansion for their MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies named Trials of Obi-Wan is under development and is scheduled for scheduled for release on November 1st, alongside the Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith theatrical DVD and Star Wars Battlefront II video game. Atari today released more screenshots from Tycoon City: New York. In the game, players start from humble beginnings as a budding entrepreneur, and build a Manhattan empire by creating, upgrading, and customizing more than 100 types of major businesses. 10tacle today announced that Elveon will be based on the well-known Unreal Engine 3, an engine capable of delivering impressive graphics and a captivating atmosphere. The game is scheduled for release in the summer of 2007 for PC and next generation consoles.

dtp today announced the lifestyle/hospital simulation Rich & Beautiful, a game produced by the German developer Independent Arts. The game features a full life and hospital simulation with slight erotic elements. The player takes the role of a chief doctor of a beauty hospital, builds up the hospital, enlarges his income, flirts with the nurses, goes golfing etc. The game will be finished in fall 2006.

Black and White 2 was presented in working fashion at games convention 2005 and we were lucky enough to sneak a short peek at the in-game engine at work; Movie is rather short and just shows gameplay basics, either way, it will relieve the wait a little bit.

Ubisoft released a new movie and new (sexy) renders and screens from the PS2 and Xbox versions of 187 Ride or Die, the urban-themed combat racing game that plunges players into a brutal street-racing gang war. The game will be available for Xbox and PS2 on August 23 at the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $49.99. The main character of the game is Buck (L. Tate), a young man living a thug’s life seething with money, fast cars and beautiful women - with danger lurking around every corner. Set in the underworld of Los Angeles, Buck must defend the territory of his mentor Dupree (G. Black) from a menacing nemesis and his gang of bandit roughriders, led by Cortez (N. Gugliemi), who are determined to take control of the streets. 187 Ride or Die will feature several different game modes including single player Death Race, Cop Chase and Assassination.

A new Darkwatch movie has been added in our download area, showcasing this game which will be available in Europe this fall, for PS2 and Xbox. Developed by Sammy Studios, Darkwatch is a vampire western FPS with multiplayer capability, slated for release for PlayStation 2 and Xbox on October 13th. Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a new movie and new screenshots from the GBA and Xbox versions of Batman Begins. The game features an all-star cast, including the voices and likenesses of Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Michael Caine (Alfred Pennyworth), Liam Neeson (Henri Ducard), Katie Holmes (Rachel Dawes), Cillian Murphy (Dr. Jonathan Crane), Tom Wilkinson (Carmine Falcone) and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), all reprising their roles from the film directed by Christopher Nolan. Electronic Arts has released a new movie and new screenshots for The Godfather, the game developed by EA and based on the book by Mario Puzo and the classic film by Paramount Pictures through a licensing relationship with Viacom Consumer Products. The Godfather features a GTA style city where players can explore and accomplish missions. The game will offer players countless choices for solving the family's problems with violence, skillful diplomacy, or a cunning mixture of both. The Godfather, revealed by Warren Jensen at Bear-Stearns 17th Annual Media, Entertainment and Information Conference, is set for worldwide launch in early 2006, for PC, Xbox and PS2.

We have five new screenshots from RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Wild!, the second expansion pack for the latest chapter of the popular series in the works at Frontier Developments. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Wild! will include customizable animal shows and petting zoos, and characters such as a new VIP, an AnimalKeeper staff member and the Tiger mascot. The new Show Ride editor also allows players to recreate the wilderness for a Safari Train Adventure or Paddle-Steam Cruiser. Players can choreograph animal shows using the RCT MixMaster; test out their tranquilizer dart shooting prowess to recapture an escaped animal, and increase their cash flow through new shops and billboards. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Wild! is scheduled to be released this autumn.

We have now a new batch of artwork and screenshots from Musashi: Samurai Legend, a game developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2 and available only in the US. It is uncertain for the moment if and when this title will see the UK shelves, but we'll keep you posted as always.

Ubisoft has released the first movie for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, a FPS for PC in the works at Arkane Studios, the team behind Arx Fatalis. The video features an interview with Gabe Newell, founder and managing director of Valve, on the use of the Source Engine created by Valve in Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. The game introduces players to the world of Ashan, the new setting for all future Might & Magic games. Ashan is a dark and unforgiving world, scarred by a bloody history and threatened by an apocalyptic prophecy: the Dark Messiah. Players will have the choice to become expert warriors, mages or assassins, each with their own cache of devastating weapons and spells to use in battling huge and vicious enemies. There is a new batch of screenshots from the PS2 and Xbox versions of Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure in our gallery, so you'd better head over there and check them out. Set in the city of New Radius, the game will offer a world where freedom of expression is suppressed and graffiti has been outlawed by a tyrannical government. You play Trane (voiced by the hip-hop artist Talib Kweli), a graffer who must use his talents in order to expose an oppressive mayor and rid the city of his stranglehold on New Radius. Developed by The Collective, Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure is slated to release this fall for PS2, Xbox and PC.

Konami today released more screenshots from Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE, an online version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game. The game features all the cards and rules of the traditional card game, and allows players to compete and trade cards via a simple point'n'click interface. To facilitate online play, Konami has introduced a DUELPASS system, which will be sold in stores worldwide. Check the press release for details including the minimum system requirements.

Koch Media today announced they have secured the rights for publishing Heroes of Annihilated Empires in UK, Germany and Italy. Celebratin this GC 2005 announcement, they also released lots of screenshots that you can find in our gallery. Combining aspects of RTS and RPG genres, Heroes of Annihilated Empires promises 18 heroes, 100 different units, 70 animated buildings, 50 magic items, large-scale battles with up to 64.000 units on the battlefield, completely unique races (units, tech trees, spells, artifacts and buildings), six unique landscapes corresponding to the six nations and many more.

Atari has released new artwork for Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum, the first video game parody ever created. The game is developed by Etranges Libellules and will be released in the second half of October for the PlayStation 2 and PC. It seems that Getafix, the famous druid, is behaving very strangely and all the other renowned druids of the Roman Empire have disappeared. You will meet characters like Centurion Larry Craft who insists on jumping around in canvas shorts, rather than wear a skirt like everybody else, and a repentant Roman spy with inside knowledge of new-fangled techniques: Sam Shieffer.

Ignition Entertainment and Atari has released new screenshots from Archer Maclean's Mercury, a PSP title where you play with blobs of mercury, various switches, platforms or obstacles and hazards to advance from one level to the next.

SEGA released a new batch of screenshots from Virtua Tennis World Tour. Virtua Tennis World Tour features three core gameplay modes (World Tour, Exhibition and Tournament), 14 internationally ranked tennis pros and multiplayer Wi-Fi function for up to 16 players. Virtua Tennis World Tour will be available this September, exclusively for PSP.

10tacle studios released a new batch of screenshots from GT Legends, illustrating the new racing game in the works atSimBin and scheduled for the beginning of October 2005. Trying to recreate the period of great racing adventures of the 60s and 70s, the game is built on a new engine, hence improved graphics and features over 90 GT and touring cars of the past generations, like the Austin Mini Cooper S, the Ford Capri or the Mercedes 300 SL. Sega released lots of new screenshots along with a trailer from Spartan: Total Warrior. The first game in the new Total Warrior franchise represents the development company's first console release and puts the player in control of a heroic warrior instead that of a commander. In this game, player takes over both roles: he is Commander of his troops and also a front fighting hero, solving quests and overcoming obstacles as in classical RPGs, but also leads armies as in an RTS. The game will feature huge and detailed environments, three factions (Alliance of Light, Hordes of Chaos, Brotherhood of Darkness), each with 12 very different units consisting of infantry, cavalry and flyers, over 100 Avatar skills, and more.

Ubisoft sent us the first screenshots from Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, a FPS for PC in the works at Arkane Studios, the team behind Arx Fatalis. Powered by Source Engine from Valve Software, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic introduces players to the world of Ashan, the new setting for all future Might & Magic games. Ashan is a dark and unforgiving world, scarred by a bloody history and threatened by an apocalyptic prophecy: the Dark Messiah. Players will have the choice to become expert warriors, mages or assassins, each with their own cache of devastating weapons and spells to use in battling huge and vicious enemies. Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. today announced they will publish in Q4 2005 Age of Pirates, the role-playing game powered by the next generation engine STORM 2.5. Age of Pirates will feature 16 colonized island, a completely open ended gameplay with a goal to achieve (gather all colonies under his hand), improved naval ship tactics, four different multiplayer modes: Free for All, Naval Battle, Sink the Convoy and Capture the Fort.

Konami today released a few more screenshots from TMNT: Mutant Melee, which is now available for PC, GC and Xbox for SRP of $19.99. TMNT: Mutant Melee offers hours of bashing, crashing and trashing fun with more than 20 playable characters, a competitive Adventure mode, a ton of mini games and unlockable content. Gamers can play alone or with up to four friends and take on the role of their favorite Turtle, Casey Jones, April O’Neil, Master Splinter and even the villainous Shredder in one of two different modes - Adventure or Melee. The Leipzig movie of Commandos Strike Force is now available for download along with many new cool screenshots from the next installment in the Commandos series developed by Pyro Studio. Unveiled in last June, (story), Commandos Strike Force features three different Commandos characters with different gameplay styles, three linked campaigns (Norway, Russia and France), open maps allowing objectives to be achieved in many different ways, a variety of multiplayer modes up to 8 players and more. The game will be released in Winter 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.

The horror-action-adventure Black Buccaneer is the latest title signed by 10TACLE STUDIOS at Games Convention 2005, and is scheduled to ship in spring of 2006, for PC, PS2 and Xbox. In the works at Widescreen Games, Black Buccaneer tells the story of the young sailor Francis Blade, caught in a strong storm on his way to the new world which left him shipwrecked on the coast of an island. The game will feature 26 levels with tricky mysteries and deathly traps, various different ways to solve the adventure and two playable characters.

Fourteen new screenshots from Hitman: Blood Money for PlayStation 2 have been added in our gallery, illustrating this sequel new game in the works at Io-Interactive and based on a new version of Glacier engine. Word is: "When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are systematically eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. For Agent 47 it's business as usual, until suddenly he loses contact with The ICA. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels to America, where he prepares to make a killing". Actually, Hitman: Contracts ends with Agent 47 on board a passenger plane heading to USA. 10TACLE STUDIOS AG also announced that they will publish in 2008 Codename Panzers II, the Stormregion's sequel supposed to be released for PC, with adaptions to other gaming consoles being discussed.

Eidos has released new screens from Tomb Raider: Legend at the Games Convention 2005, so you can see them uploaded in our gallery. The game is developed by Crystal Dynamics studio (known for Legacy of Kain: Defiance), the Lara Croft's original creator, Toby Gard, being the lead character designer. The sexy Lara Croft's character model will feature natural structure, realistic textures, detailed facial features, reactive eyes and fluid motion. Her equipment will consist of magnetic grappling device, binoculars, frag grenades, personal lighting device and communications equipment. Tomb Raider: Legend is slated for release on PS2, Xbox and PC. Be sure to grab the first trailer featuring one minute of cinematic and in-game footage.

10tacle studios Slovakia revealed today at Games Convention a fantasy action epic game named Elveon, scheduled for release in the summer of 2007, for PC and next generation consoles. Press 'read more' for details and for the first movie featuring three minutes of cinematic footage.

Games Convention 2005 is currently running, and while we're organizing the data-stream, here we go with first batches of Booth and Babes from the stand, it's mostly booths for now, stay tuned for Babes. As rumored a while ago, the price for the Xbox 360 will start from 299.99USD/EUR. Microsoft today announced they will release two flavors of its next-gen console. With the cheaper one you will get wired controller, a faceplate and standard AV cables, but no hard drive. The 399.99USD/EUR version comes with a 20GB hard drive, a wireless controller, a faceplate, a component HD-AV cable, a headset and an Xbox Live Silver membership. For a limited period of time, the more expensive version will include a media remote which you can use to play DVDs, movies and music, as well as access Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005-based PC's controls. As for the launch, they just said the console will come in time for this Christmas holiday, several months ahead of the competition. I guess you all know this means November.

Nintendo today announced that Mario Smash Football aka Super Mario Strikers will launch along with a white pearl GameCube on November 18th. Mario Smash Football is a five-a-side based football tournament pitting teams of classic Nintendo characters against each other. To win games players simply have to place more balls in the back of their opponent's net than the other team. The estimated retail price is around 60EUR for the whole package. Our gallery has been updated with two screenshots from World Racing 2, showcasing the new Golf R32 announced a few days ago by Volkswagen. World Racing 2 features an advanced 3D Landscape Engine, which creates separate race tracks and facilitates the creation of kilometre long sceneries in full 3D. The 3D environments are inspired by attractive locations from all over the world (Egypt, Hawaii, Italy and Miami) and allow players to leave the road to take appropriate shortcuts or simply cruise through the terrain and enjoy exploring wherever they want. JoWooD Productions has released a new movie for The Guild 2 the sequel to The Guild: Europa 1400, the historical RTS developed by 4Head Studios and released back in October 2002. The Guild 2 is scheduled for the summer 2006.

NCsoft is the next company that confirmed its presence at the Leipzig Games Convention, taking place August 17th – 20th. Its portofolio includes two games: City of Villains and Auto Assault. City of Villains is first expansion for City of Heroes, the MMORPG developed by Cryptic Studios, while Auto Assault is vehicular combat with role-playing elements in the works at NetDevil.
