GamingWorld X is constantly expanding,
and therefore constantly looking for quality staff members
to round out our team of editors. What do
you get out of working for GWX other than prestige and
envious friends? You get the satisfaction
of knowing that your work will be read by thousands
of people per day. You will see the industry from a
different and exciting point of view and work with a
passionate, hard-working team, dedicated to providing
unique and compelling content to our ever-growing readership.
GWX will also give you access to trade events, put you
in contact with members of the video game industry,
and provide you with various compensation incentives.
Also, if you're a college student, an arrangement can
be worked out so that your occupation with GWX acts
as an internship and earns you college credit.
What do we want from you?
At GWX, we take our staff additions very seriously.
Previous experience is not a necessity, but a solid
understanding of writing fundamentals is, along with
great knowledge of the past and present of the video
game industry. Perhaps most importantly, a sense of
humor and personality that is evident in your writing
is a must. Your time commitment will vary and we are
willing to custom fit your duties with your availability.
Your duties will consist of hunting the wires, press
releases, and trade publications for news and information
and writing previews, reviews, editorials, and contributing
to special features such as the Editor's Roundtable.
You will also be given the freedom of presenting new
ideas, implementing new features, and using your creative
abilities to their fullest.

What should you do now? Think it over. Working for GWX
is a rewarding experience, but it's also a commitment
and something that could take up a great deal of your
time. After you've decided you're ready, send an e-mail
