Expert play
In weiqi, expert players can give incentives to poorer players.
As in the above diagram, before the start of a game, the black seed player has given the white seed player permission to place any number of seeds on the board as a headstart. One point to note is that the maximum number of seeds a party can give for a headstart is limited to 8 and the seeds must be placed on any spot as seen in the above diagram.
