Space Quest III: The Pirates of Pestulon (Sierra On-Line, 1989)

The faults of the previous two Space Quest games were quickly rectified with Space Quest III, which, like King's Quest IV, invokes professionally composed music and vastly improved graphics. There are multiple solutions to many puzzles incorporated into an interesting underlying story with several interconnected, though unrelated plot lines. It also helps to tie up some loose ends from the previous games and has some interesting action sequences, including two somewhat difficult ones at the end. Though unfortunately a little too short, Space Quest III is definitely worth playing by Space Quest or science-fiction fans.
