Space Quest VI: Roger Wilco in the Spinal Frontier (Sierra On-Line, 1995)

Continuing on with the type of writing and satire used in Space Quest V: The Last Mutation, Space Quest VI reaches for broad, topical (for science fiction) humor, but ends up falling flat on its face, being tedious and uninteresting. The game's "puzzles" are inane and illogical, the characters ridiculously cardboard-like or stereotypical, the voice acting particularly annoying and sub-par (even for a Sierra game) and the attempted humor anything but funny. Not worthy of play by even the most ardent Space Quest or Sierra On-Line fans, while not quite as wretched as Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers, certainly does this formerly fine series, and this formerly acceptable company, no favors. Pass this "game" by.
