Sorcerer (Infocom, 1984)

Sorcerer, the second game in the Enchanter series, is even a more serious and mind-bending challenge than in Enchanter, and a larger area to explore. This game is full of vivid descriptions and an interesting plot (which, unfortunately, doesn't develop as much as it should) which work well within the fabric of the game. The story culminates in three different and magnificently-written endings, all of which should be experienced. Due to all of these factors, plus the flair for writing and puzzles Steve Meretzky adequately displays time and time again, Sorcerer should undoubtedly be played by everyone.
