excited about owning this set. Besides it's aesthetic appeal it will be one
of only two sets made and therefore unique.
As I have mentioned in the past, your sets are second to none in terms of
quality and workmanship. This coupled with your honesty, integrity and
excellent customer service make doing business with you even more enjoyable
and rewarding. In fact after purchasing my first set from the House of
Staunton, I haven't bought a set from any other vendor. The quality of their
sets and customer service pales in comparison to yours. In my opinion, your
sets are the standard to which all others should be compared. Just to let you
know (my wife doesn't know yet..lol) I have six House of Staunton sets on my
"wish list" that I'd like to procure over the next two years!
On another subject, thanks for the information regarding the chess table
delivery.
I saw the nice picture of you and your wife in the recent issue of Chess
Life. I was planning on going to the auction in Philadelphia but something

I just received the Tournament Superior Collector set today. It is more beautiful than the pictures on the website can depict it. The weight is perfect and the pieces are so gracefully proportioned. I can't thank you enough, the set exceeds all my expectations. It is a delight to look at and will add immensely to my enjoyment of the game. I am very aggressive, too aggressive when I play, and the beauty of these pieces has given me something to really look at. The set has slowed my play enough to consider a longer series of moves, as I simply enjoy the looking at your graceful chess pieces. I am delighted, thank you very much.

Thanks so much, the set arrived so quickly, it seemed like it took just 2 days. The packing was wonderful, and the set itself is just absolutely gorgeous. Next to the Isle of Lewis set, these Knights have to be my favorites ( I don't play, I just look at the pretty pieces while my husband and daughters play...can you tell?)

I've heard the saying: You Get What You Pay For!.
Well, in the case of, The House Of Staunton, That is
absolutely false. I received My Rosewood Collector
Series chess set; My Sandalwood Capablanca Series
chess set and my Rosewood Custom Contemporary
chessboard today, packaged like fine china would be,
on a long journey. I am totally impressed with the
service, and of course the product. Never, have I seen
a more carefully made set of chess pieces. And the
mahogany case & box are exquisite. I feel as though
I've robbed The House of Staunton. These two
sets, along with the board could easily have sold for
much more than I paid. My deepest thanks to, The House
Of Staunton & Mr. Frank A. Camaratta, Jr. for treating
me to first class service & to a first class product,
A product that I will value for a long, long time.

Hi Frank - couple of things. First, I received a check in the mail from you for a shipping refund of $15.00. Thank you very much! Most people would have just kept the extra. You realize now you have a customer for life!
Also, I was wondering if there were any special care instructions for the Ebony/boxwood collector chessman. Edmonton is a very dry climate, especially in the winter time! Any advice you could offer (cleaning, storage, etc.) would be very much appreciated.

Hello again Frank & Donna - Murphy's Law - the set just arrived at 9:05pm local time! I guess they did just forget to scan it after all. I have inspected all the pieces and they are all just brilliant. An extremely impressive chess set. Your pictures on your web site and in the auction do not do them justice. Thank you for you attention to detail in both the creation of the pieces, as well as the thorough and careful packaging! Can't wait for next Xmas when I will get one of your boards.

my son says that this is "THE SET", and he is right, even my daughter and wife when they saw it said "WOW !!!" in stereo sound.
