Briefly, to say: I don't know about Sackville, but Tania is really a real person - an erudite, very ambitious one, speaking plenty of languages and having many and different interests. And she is especially gifted it arts. By the way, I liked the anagram too ;).

Just to let you know - Tania Nasielski is also a 'real live' person, not a figment of Ms Treister overactive imagination. Although I am fascinated by the anagram. Well done. I'm pleased you sort of liked the book.

Hello Laurence, thank you for giving us such a good story. By any chance, do you have a phone number or a name for that office in Asuncion where you bought tickets? Thank you. Michael

In ... The cult of pharmacology & Intoxication in mythology review by Richard Barnett... there are a number of instances where the latter book title is used when what is meant is the former book -- and wayne state, is that NC or Michigan?

a comment on Unforced rhythms of grace

by PinkYoBlack at 08:50[BST] on 10/05/07

I enjoyed reading this. I found it unpredictable and always emotionally charged to the point of being nervous. The use second person drew me in, thought it was well paced when the bloke offers to pray and then disappears. 'Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.' seemed unnatural to me. I would think about making the cat motif more important or getting rid of it. I reckon since your in second person you need to make the cat distracting for the reader themselves so their mind moves from the plotting Christians. It seemed too peripheral and not the most memorable image you could leave us with. Quality description of the effects of the singer, I wanted a bit more physical description though. Really good chemistry between the narrator and the addressee.
