Who is Paul and why is his name Paul?

 

 

 


 

Paul is a very well known man in the Bible. He helped distribute the gospels. He was a Roman Citizen. Paul was called his Hebrew name, Saul. However, the Jews were comfortable calling him Paul, therefore, his name Saul changed to the Greco-Roman name, "Paul." Paul was respected by all of the Jews and his fellow Romans. Paul went through pain and hardships, but he always new it was in God's hands and it was his plan. Paul had a famous saying. It was "To live is Christ and to die is gain."
