Softball for Homeschool Children? Yes! All summer long!

Every Wednesday in the spring and summer months between semesters, your children may attend a softball SKILLS class supervised by Dean Flanders at the Crossville City Park.

This class will run from 10am till noon every Wednesay when the enrichment classes are not in session (weather permitting). We are not a "team" and we do not play other teams. This class is designed to teach throwing, catching, fielding, batting, running and field strategy.

Your children will get several 5-10 minute breaks, but otherwise, they are expected to be active on the field and to follow directions and intructions from Dean and the assistant coaches. We do not want children attending who will not participate or follow instructions. There is a lot of physical exercise in this class - hard work, if you will.

Parents are invited to stay and help supervise or participate. Please bring your children with a baseball glove and with a drink - it get's hot out there and they work hard. If you do not stay to watch or participate, you are expected to pick up your children at 12 noon. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS CLASS AT THIS TIME.

If you have any further questions, call Dean Flanders at 456-6685.
