Announcement: Orange Wiki
A network-orientated knowledge-sharing tool. An anyone-can-edit-because-it-is-under-full-version-control hypertext system.
Orange Wiki's distinctive features are:
- Simple and easy operations. Visual simplicity combined with an intuitive mark-up format provide a simple and effective user interface.
- Explicit support for overview. As a unique feature Orange Wiki has a set of views that provides different forms of overview over its collection of individual pages. Such as recent changes, link structure and calendar of edits.
- Easy deployment. Just upload or link to the web archive file from within your Apache Tomcat server or any other Java Servlet 2.2 compliant servlet container.
It is implemented using J2EE-technology. It uses XML for its persistent storage, it has a Model-View-Controller architecture and it uses Apache Velocity for its template files.
