4-H Clubs enable homeschoolers to participate in a variety of activities including Speach Contests, Poster Contests, Cooking Contests, 4-H congress, Electric Camp, and Animal Projects. Students learn and have fun in a wholesome group atmosphere. They have the opportunity to travel to various parts of the state where they compete with students in other counties and districts. Come join us and have fun in 4-H. For more information contact Kelli Moore at the Agriculture Extension Office or contact Monica Hackett at 484-8756 or TNSkool@aol.com 4-H for homeschoolers will meet on the third Wednesday of each month starting in October. Our first meeting will be October 17th at 1:00 pm at the Crossville Community Complex. We will be completing registration, talking about the events scheduled for the upcoming year. and meeting new friends. All students in grades 4-12 are welcome. Last Year's News: Congratulations to Andrew Hackett who attended 4-H Congress as a Senator and won 1st place in the State for his Essay: Behold the Power of 4-H YOUth. Way to go, Andrew!!! |
