Richmond Junior Chess Club meets on Saturdays at: ETNA Community Centre 13 Rosslyn Road East Twickenham TW1 2AR Click HERE for map. By car: easy access by road via the A316. There is a car park at the back of the building. The ETNA Centre is a short walk from St Margarets Station (BR) and a 15-minute walk or short bus ride from Richmond Station (BR/Underground). Buses 33, 490, H22, H37, R68 and R70 stop within 1 minute walk. Our new schedule for the 2005-06 season: 11.30-1.30: Intermediate/Advanced Group 1 (Suitable for players with some previous experience of competitive or school chess) 1.45-2.45: Beginners/Parents Group (Suitable for beginners and younger children who are not yet ready for competitive chess) 3.00-5.00: Intermediate/Advanced Group 2 (Same as Group 1 - you may switch groups from week to week) Richmond Junior Squad: meets once a month. (Regular training by IMs/GMs for children wishing to be considered for the Richmond U9 and U11 teams - some places also for older children. Suitable for players up to BCF 80 grade.) Richmond Master Group: meets once a month. (Regular training by IMs/GMs for serious tournament players with BCF grades 80+ or equivalent playing strength.)
