He is also one heck of a good cook!

The entire staff is crazy about him, especially the Florida Feline Force!
Caryn Kamp, CDO
Our Chief Design Officer began her career when her mother, Nancy, got into the beading business. It quickly became apparent she was just in it for the jewelry so we gave her a title, and use her keen eye and excellent design sense as a sounding board only. Her Junior Bear traveled from Oklahoma City to Singapore as part of a school project. She currently attends college in Boston. where she is majoring in elementary education. Caryn writes our AskCaryn.com pages. She is also a talented painter.
Cary Kamp, UTD and DF
Our DF in the Roman Forum, October 2003 Cary Kamp began his training in photography in the US Navy. He continued his studies at the University of Oklahoma, obtaining a BA from Oklahoma City University. As an executive project manager for the world's leading imaging software company, Metavante, Cary stays on the cutting edge of IT. His technical and photographic contributions to this site are greatly appreciated. Sadly, Cary has a dark side. His title, UTD, is explained in the March 17, 2003 weblog. Nancy thinks it's well-deserved. However, in September of 2003, Cary was promoted to Director of Fireworks (DF) as a reward for outstanding service and as a token of things to come.
Jill Kamp Jill Kamp, our Designated Adult, is Nancy and Cary's daughter. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with majors in economics and management. Her early travel adventures appear in Nancy's weblog. Her photos and a link to her Study Abroad weblog can be found in our Travel pages. Bruce Malcolm Ozark folklorist, Bruce Malcolm keeps the art of oral story telling alive. Called the meanest hillbilly child in Jasper County, Missouri, or Bird of the Earth by his grandmother - depending upon her mood, he is still in possession of his original Daisy Red Ryder B-B gun. A graduate of Wichita State University, Bruce, now our Marketing Wizard (MW), has not allowed his education to impede him in any way. Living on Amelia Island, Florida, he is dedicated to architectural preservation. As proof of his lack of prejudice, he married the Gracious Jane Marie, a Pennsylvania Yankee. They have successfully managed to overcome the language barrier. In 2006, Bruce was elected to the city comission in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He became mayor in 2008.
Gail Perry Gail Perry, from northeastern Pennsylvania, is a long-time family friend as well as a regular contributor to our Recipe Pages. She is a multi-talented artist and exhibits at the Yankee Trader Craft Show in Ohio. Gail designed and made Martha Bear's St. Patrick's Day T Shirt. She also acted as wedding reception coordinator for Barbra's wedding, contributing such unique delights as cookies that appeared to be peaches! A Tourism Information Specialist, Gail works with regional tourism offices and owns Regional Tourism Brochure Distribution Service - Great Places Information Showcase. Contact Gail for great travel ideas at grenee@velocity.net.
Bonnie Shivley Bonnie Shivley, our Official Ozark Oracle (OOO - think of Bonnie, think of hugs), is a married mother of three and grandmother from Missouri. She has worked in the field of physical therapy and is devoted to helping children with multiple special challenges. A friend to Jane Marie by way of this website, Bonnie, admittedly, is a jeans and T shirt kind of gal, who loves ribbons and lace, softness and old fashioned charm. She enjoys reading Christian books, anything historical, and tastefully written romances.
Linda Weber A former resident of Amelia Island (Fernandina Beach), Florida, Linda moved toAlaska in 1993 with her husband, Don, where she found the perfect place to combine her love of nature and photography. "Alaska's pristine beauty keeps me inspired no matter what I'm doing ... taking photos, crafting, or enjoying the great outdoors. It truly kindles the spirit."
