Iran in 2009 stood 3rd worldwide in terms of fleet of vehicles running on سیانجی ; Figure for the end of 2009 is 1.67 million NGVs and 1,021 fueling stations; Iran is also the world's fastest growing NGV market[۱۷۳][۱۷۴][۱۷۵] By the end of 2010, Iran ranked 2nd worldwide with 2 million NGV's (1.3 million factory built NGV's & 0.7 million converted NGV's) as well as 1,546 operational fueling stations with a cumulative CNG production capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters/hour of CNG; Number of fueling stations is to be increased to 2,500[۱۷۶] and the number of NGV's is expected to reach 3 million by 2012[۱۷۷] |
