Haven't really done much since yesterday except change the name of the map to nib_factory, which is going to be the official release name. My goal today is to start working on the inside of the two central buildings. I've tried to start working on them a couple times but I'm just drawing a blank. I do this quite often during the mapping process. I usually just keep messing with the map until something kinda clicks.

Didn't really get a whole lot done today. I did spend a while online hunting for good brick textures, found a few at this site. The textures by Ikka and the Max Payne textures are looking useful. I also spent some time working on one of the central buildings. Its all very rough stuff, here is the map file. This doesn't include any of the textures I was toying with so you'll see some missing textures if you load the map up. But, you'll be able to take a look at my building and see some of the changes I've made to it. Primarily I reworked the "office" part of the building, which is where I plan on putting the transmit room and I also built out a hole in the bottom of the room where some machinery will go and put a skylight structure up on the roof. I'm still struggling with how I want all these buildings to be connected. I originally was thinking of doing a street kind of layout, with some walkways and street signs but that doesn't really grab me. The other idea I have is to make it a very rough look, like this picture.
